Civilian First Responder 101

Taught by guest instructor Kevin Reeves, Civilian First Responder is designed to equip participants with the essential skills needed to effectively respond to medical emergencies. In this hands-on course, you’ll learn how to assess and manage an emergency scene, prioritize safety, and conduct a thorough patient assessment. Key topics include controlling bleeding and implementing immediate care techniques. Upon completion, you’ll earn a Stop the Bleeding certification, validating your ability to provide critical support in urgent situations. This class also provides a foundational introduction to more advanced topics covered in the follow-up Civilian First Responder 102 course.

Instructor Highlight:

Kevin Reeves is a decorated US Army Ranger, Pararescueman, and CIA Operator with extensive combat, close protection, training, and emergency medical experience, having deployed to Afghanistan, Iraq, Africa, Israel, and other conflict zones. Beyond his military
career, Kevin has made significant contributions to executive protective and concierge programs as well as excelled in the civilian space as an executive program lead on multiple projects. He has also developed and instructed elite selection programs worldwide in “one man” to large unit tactics, medical, disaster, emergency action plans, and survival techniques. Additionally, Kevin completed the VETS2 Project Manager Program, SCRUM Master, and was instrumental in business development for a company that went to IPO.
